Johnny Cash had great success with this song, and it won a BMI award in 1973, as one of the most performed songs. The Czech lyric to this song was written by Jan Vycítal, who also wrote lyric in his own language to another Feller composition - "Lord, Mr. Ford". "Zpívám písne vetru z hor" is what "Any Old Wind" has been known as in Czech Republic, as recorded by Michal Tucný.
